work with the Test Manager throughout the entire Testing lifecycle to understand the required functionality
Responsible for, and manage the quality assurance (testing) process within the development application process and project milestone
Develop and execute regression test scripts
Execute all automated scripts in the required environment
Develop scripts for functional testing using the Rational tool suite
Automate manual scripts using the Rational tool suite
Raise defects based on failed tests in the defect management tool
Serve as key technical guide for the design and implementation of all current and new functionalities, processes, procedures and specifications
Liaise with product owners, scrum masters, business analysts, developers and quality assurance during product development and testing phases through to production and maintenance
Actively communicate, improve and implement user experience (UX) corrective direction to the team steering the organisation toward market fit
Compile test suites and procedures to cover functional, navigational, regression, integration, stress and performance testing
Profilo del CandidatoMust Have
Good oral and written communication
Good attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks
Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines
Experience in all the phases of the systems development lifecycle
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to analyse issues
Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and Rational tool suite
Minimum of 5 years solid experience with test automation using the Rational tool suite
Must be willing to travel
ISTQB certified (Foundation level minimum)
Experience testing both Web and Client based applications
Rational tool experience
Axe tool experience
Must be able to have worked in an Agile environment
