Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is currently recruiting a
- Senior Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer
for a high-profile international client based in Frascati (RM).
The ideal candidate is an experienced Software Engineer with experience in Artificial Intelligence, in particular Machine Learning and in managing both “internal” development and “external” procurement to industry and/or research institutions.
The aim of this position is to help develop the AI Software stack supporting the data preparation, modelling and decision support system, with focus on functions that will help generate new user segment capabilities.
Main tasks will be:
• Review, analyse and integrate technical and programmatic requirements in terms of AI algorithms and software stack, across the whole value chain, from data processing to decisions;
• Support designing the architecture, use cases and capabilities of the AI service layer software architecture, in the context of the evolution of services and IT infrastructures;
• Produce SW Requirement Documents, Architecture Design Document, and SW Design and Development documentation down to component level;
• Asses quality of the SW stack to serve objectives, and provide new functionalities in an evolving service portfolio;
• Evaluate selected technologies for specific development tasks;
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept software and exploitation of existing and upcoming projects;
• Help support definition of technical procurement specifications;
• Support SW procurement process up to validation, acceptance and integration in the new project system
The ideal candidate shall be in possession of:
• Solid hands-on experience of software development cycle
• Solid background in Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Data Analytics, or Statistics
• Good understanding of Earth Observation data, services and applications, and in particular, ground segment infrastructure will constitute asset
• Ability to conduct an independent literature review for projects and implement relevant techniques from those papers
• Strong interpersonal skills - Must be comfortable working in dynamic and diverse multinational teams
• Ability to communicate efficiently across teams, functions and global regions
• Strong sense of ethics and integrity
• Proficiency in English
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or other relevant fields
