R&D Senior Power Electronic Engineer

You have a master degree in electronic/electrical engineering with a solid background in power electronic converter

With at least 3-5 years of experience in a medium-high range company focus on products design and production as power electronic engineer.

International business environments with a strong skill in products development from concept to mass production.

• Take responsibility for the complete development of the FW process (implementation, testing and validation) of state machines and control algorithms for power converter based on multicore 32bit DSP platform, FPGA and 32 bit microcontroller;
• Support the HW and testing engineer on simulation and test of power converter prototype;
• Act as an expert on the most common SW development strategy for power electronic as: model base design, hardware in the loop, V-model;
• Update on develop SW tool (IDE) for the DSP application and on the most popular SW tools for power electronic design like: Plecs, Matlab, Simulink, Microcap, psim.

In this position you need to coordinate your work with the entire development team. Your peers will be : R&D Mechanics, DSP, HW, FW, project manager, operation (manufacturing, planning, sourcing, quality..) after sale where daily you review the project to meet the business case of the product.

You are a passionate person with a lot of flexibility and creativity to accept proactively the daily challenges to provide the best solution. A creative problem solving is your key success factor. You have to be comfortable in a Start-up mindset inserted in to a global strong company. Agility, as capacity to change direction fast, is the recommended soft skill to drive the success of the business. Team working in an international context is your main support.

You are fluent in English, and a good communicator as in remote and face to face meeting.
