Assisting in developing process engineering strategies and improvement projects, in order to deliver the company objectives of 'Operational Excellence' and 'lowest Cost Supplier'
Helping in setting process parameters for machine operation and quality specification, etc. for new and existing projects
Providing ongoing training support for manufacturing teams including operators in relation to process/drawing changes and new process introduction
Cooperating closely with the customer service and other teams to provide technical support or solutions for customers and their complaint
Programming and composing by CAD based on drawings from customers and their update
Assisting in maintaining process information in ERP
Profile
Experience of working with or an understanding of advanced composite materials would be highly advantageous, but not essential
Understanding of the engineering implications of Health & Safety legislation and quality requirements
Knowledge of OEE, Lean and 6Sigma would be highly advantageous
Skilled in CAD application
Skilled in ERP operation
3-5 years experience of working within a process engineering role in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong academic background, bachelor degree or above with educated in a chemical / mechanical / material engineer or equivalent discipline
