SALESAREA MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL DIVISION

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Sales Area Manager will report to EMEA Business Managerand will be responsible for managing, developing and consolidating the company'spresence in the area of ​​expertise, with a particular focus onItaly, Spain, Portugal and eastern Europe; the resourcewillalso be responsible for offeringtechnical-salessupport for the management and development of the customer portfolio.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The mainresponsibility of thisroleis to deliver industrial business pipelines in the area in order to maximiserevenuegrowth in new and existingkey accounts, alongsideincreasingprofitabilityagainstdefined targets to achieve cash and profit improvement for the business.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Focus and grow sales activity in order to maximise sales opportunitiesacrosscustomers in portfolio;
  • Business development, hunting and achieve new keycustomers in selected salessegment to increase sales and marginrevenue;
  • New productdevelopment: working with and acrossfunctions to develop newand/orcustomizedsolutions for existing and new key account;
  • Developclear and targeted business plans in order to increase sales and marketshare;
  • Assist in developing market strategies for segments;
  • Monitor customers’ financial performance asrelates to individualcustomer salesstrategies;
  • Develop, manage and maintainexceptionalrelationships with bothinternal andexternalcustomers;
  • Strictlyrespect the obligations set by Italian HSE Act (D. Lgs. 81/08) in accordancewith the specificsafetyinstructionsrelated to the role.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor (Bsc) or equivalent;
  • Experience within a salesfunction and managingkey accounts (3-5 years) preferablein a multinational business environment (experience in the Automotive fieldshould be an advantage);
  • Excellentknowledge of sales processes for technical and commodity consumableproductsthroughspecialistdistribution networks and end users;
  • Proficient use of CRM (Sales force willbe a plus), Office (Powerpoint, Excel) and Social Network and Video Platforms (like teams, googlemeet, Skype Business, Zoom).

 

 

PERSONALITY & LANGUAGES:

 

  • Highly proactive, flexible, self-motivated, driven and results-oriented;
  • The ability to developrelationships, negotiate and close businessin a cross functionalmanner;
  • Goodcommunication and decision-makingskills;
  • First classpresentationskills, bothverbal and written;
  • FluentEnglish ismandatory, Spanish will be appreciated.

 

 

 

Salary Package: about 40K/45K RAL
