R&D Senior Power Electronic Engineer

You have a master degree in electronic/electrical engineering with a solid background in power electronic converter

With at least 3-5 years of experience in a medium-high range company focus on products design and production as power electronic engineer.

International business environments with a strong skill in products development from concept to mass production.

You have a strong experience on power converter design connected to medium/low voltage grid for battery applications. AC/DC and DC/DC applications in the range of 10KW-100KW with the most common topologies: switching, resonant, isolated, PFC, bi-directional.

You are responsible of the development process from concept to release to production passing through the feasibility analysis, testing (performance, thermal, EMC), reliability, validation, and design for manufacturability.

You support the PCB designer and the Magnetics components designer in the guide of execution of their activities.

You are expert of the most popular SW tools for power electronic design like : Plecs, Matlab, Simulink, Microcap, psim

You are constantly updated on the main semiconductor technology evolution following the trend with the major suppliers. Mosfet, IGBT, SiC, GaN, press-fit power module and all the others are part of your daily application

In this position you need to coordinate your work with the entire development team. Your peers will be : R&D Mechanics, DSP, HW, FW, project manager, operation (manufacturing, planning, sourcing, quality..) after sale where daily you review the project to meet the business case of the product.

You are a passionate person with a lot of flexibility and creativity to accept proactively the daily challenges to provide the best solution. A creative problem solving is your key success factor. You have to be comfortable in a Start-up mindset inserted in to a global strong company. Agility, as capacity to change direction fast, is the recommended soft skill to drive the success of the business. Team working in an international context is your main support.

You are fluent in English, and a good communicator as in remote and face to face meeting.
