                                                          Testing  Engineer

                                                          Chemical Specialist

 

PRODUCT ENGINEER FOR HYBRID POWERTRAINS

Position takes part to the design and development of new products. Incumbent applies engineering principles within team environments to create competitive products. 

Essential Qualifications and experience

• Master’s degree - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent title
• Deep knowledge of powertrain for hybrid vehicles
• Minimum 5 years of previous experience in similar role
• Knowledge of PTC – Creo or equivalent design software
• Fluent spoken and written English

 

PRODUCT ENGINEER

Position takes part to the design and development of new products. Incumbent supports the team defining with the Lead Engineer product design standards from conceptual sketch to production ready status.

Essential Qualifications and experience

• Mechanical or automotive engineering master degree are highly recommended
• Minimum 2/3 years of previous experience in similar role
• Knowledge of NVH and vibration engineering is preferable
• Thermodynamics and powertrain knowledge are preferable
• Deep knowledge in Cad systems (PRO-E preferred)
• Fluent spoken and written English

 

TESTING ENGINEER

The test engineer performs the Functional Measurements and analyzes the Durability Log Sheets on projects/products: Functional Tests (Internal & at the Customer), Test on Dynamometers or on Vehicles, General accountabilities.

Essential Qualifications and experience

• Master’s degree - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent title
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in similar tasks, and in structured companies
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems dynamics and vibrations, mechanical measurements and statistical methods
• Basic knowledge of ICE (internal combustion engines)
• Experience and knowledge of mechatronics, engine control units and high-precision control systems are an advantage
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Manual capabilities and attitude for manual work (not only intellectual)

 

CHEMICAL SPECIALIST

The work consists of analyzing the materials of Dayco products from: R&D development phase, quality department, customer testing, internal testing and warranty

Essential Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in similar tasks, and in structured companies
• Master’s degree in Chemical Science or equivalent title.
• PhD in material science is duly required.
• Good knowledge of all material lab activities (cutting, mounting, polishing, material etching for metallographic analysis etc.), good knowledge and use of all material instruments (optical spectrometer, hardness testing machines, stereo and metallographic microscopes, SEM/EDS microscopes, climatic chambers, Salt Spray chambers, Rheometers, DSC,FTIR,TGA), good knowledge of statistical analysis of data in laboratory.
• Fluent spoken and written English
