To support its growth path, is looking for a:

Project Manager / Product Owner – IoT Company (Ticino)

The candidate will be part of the Project Management team. Based on developments complexity, he/she’ll be asked to manage one or more development projects, with responsibility on the complete product life-cycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with marketing/sales and R&D to generate and refine product requirements, features and improvement requests
• Personally own and manage the complete technical and organizational life cycle of new project/products development, from product requirements collection and validation, up to volume production (development break-down, EPICS and US definition, design, development, validation, field tests, certifications and product documentation included)
• Define and manage development backlogs, milestones and priorities
• Effectively interface both the assigned scrum master and development team members, and the Product Owners of the functional teams
• Ensure an excellent communication flow, with all the relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring and control of the typical most relevant development metrics (quality, cost, schedule)
• Follow up with the different parties involved in projects (such as internal/external teams and suppliers) to secure on time and in scope deliverables
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, including proper Risk Management and Earned Value Analysis, and escalate to upper management if required
• Actively support the product development methodology improvement

Qualifications and experiences

• University degree in computer science, electronics/telecommunications engineering, or equivalent discipline.
• 3+ years relevant experience as Project Manager and/or Product Owner (as defined by Agile methodology)
• Proven experience on development of hardware/firmware/software integrated solutions
• Good knowledge on Agile product development methodology (with focus on Product Owner’s tasks and responsibilities)
• Technical understanding of domains like IoT, Smart City, Wireless Sensor networks, Medical devices
• Good knowledge of project life-cycles and communication plans
• Proficient in English

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as HW/RF or SW/FW developer or system engineer

• Good interpersonal communications skills with an understanding of cultural diversity
