LIDEA SPA, known as Dr.Max in the retail pharmacy chain business, is looking for a Financial Controller able to create transparency towards business processes and development, contribute to establish a functioning business control environment as well as efficient reporting activities. The position will be based in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna), Dr.Max Italy HQ.

Responsibilities

• Regular budget consolidation• Analyzing and preparing financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of financial position• Monthly reporting, cost and deviation analysis• Annual budget preparation in compliance with group standards and quarterly forecasts, analysis of the monthly and YTD variances of actual performance vs. budgeted• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting• Capex analysis• Stakeholder management towards Group Holding in Prague• Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations• Preparing documents for external audits

 Profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• 2-3 years of experience in auditing (Big4) / controlling
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and skills, including IFRS
• Fluent knowledge of English language is a must
• Highly efficient and capable within EXCEL usage [VBA is a plus but not a must]
• Ability to work under pressure and intensive deadlines
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Good presentation skills [e.g. PowerPoint]
