Purpose of the position

 

Ensure the full and timely completion of the whole APQP process during launches of new products, driving carefully and smartly teams with the needed core tools:

• PDCA
• KAIZEN
• PFMEA
• QA Matrix
• SPC
• MSA
• PPAP

 

Areas of Responsibilities

• Coordinates plant quality activities during development and launch of a new product
• Is responsible for the timely completion of all main quality documents and data collection to be regularly reported to management
• Prepares and checks all launch quality documents for the plant/s, respecting the APQP quality gates
• Ensures all Customers’ requests are included in the product SPC, PFMEA and Control Plan
• Attends all regular meetings with the rest of the organization as representative and responsible for the plants tasks and needs
• Supports internal process audits, detects non-conformities and manages action plans according to PDCA methodology
• Ensures that suppliers PPAP and finished goods PPAP packages are available within the expected timing
• Attends Customers meetings and official product and process audits, collects data and prepares 2nd level analyses to solve product issues
• Ensures Lessons Learned are tracked, known and implemented on the product
• Prepares QA matrix, Kaizen and all needed data for the Quality reviews with middle and top management

Competences / Required experience

• Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering
• Working experience: at least 5 years spent in quality roles within the automotive sector
• Qualified IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6.3 2nd party auditor
• Mobility within Italy required
• English (at least B2 CEFR level) and Italian are essential
• Very good knowledge of the Office package, with special focus on Advanced Excel and Power Point
• Experience in traditional ERP systems (SAP, QAD, MFG-Pro)
• Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality core tools (PDCA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Kaizen, MSA, SPC)
